Salary: £25,000.00 to £35,000.00/year depending on experience
Nomad Games are looking for talented and enthusiastic full-time Unity Developers to join their growing studio in Cheshire. A keen interest in board and tabletop games will help you meet the challenge of delivering the very best products in the industry.
You will need to be a highly organised individual with significant code design and implementation experience, bringing a high level of accuracy and aptitude to your work. We have positions for AI, UI, Gameplay and LiveOps/DevOps programmers, although your work will often cross over multiple disciplines.
Successful candidates will be comfortable in a team of developers, and have excellent communication and time management skills. They will enjoy helping their team hit deadlines and aim to successfully meet the company's goals. They will join a work environment where every voice is heard and be able to bring their ideas into the fold.
You will be joining a team focused on bringing strategy, card and board games to the mobile, console and desktop markets.
You will work on multiple projects.
Improving the quality of the user experience for all game client platforms.
Implement features and systems required to bring products to market using Unity and C#.
Help maintain and improve the existing codebase.
Design and implement new features as required for the project.
Provide well written documentation where required.
Help integrate third party SDKs and communicate with and meet requirements from external partners when necessary.
Work within key deadlines and manage your time effectively.
Follow modern coding principles such as Clean Code, SRP, etc. to ensure software quality.
Work with both internal and external quality assurance teams to ensure products are functionally reliable.
Excellent knowledge of the Unity Game engine (2017.x or above).
Strong programming skills in C#.
Experience designing games and systems from the ground up.
Strong debugging skills.
Experience using source control management i.e. Git.
Experience with continuous integration and deployment systems.
